Mike Windsor

Michael W. Windsor is the Chairman of The Windco Companies, bringing over three decades of innovation and leadership in the industrial waste management, oil reclamation, and environmental services sectors. Shortly after graduation, he founded East Texas Oil Products in Lufkin, Texas, specializing in the production of road base materials across Angelina and Nacogdoches counties. By 1987, Windsor expanded into crude oil reclamation and recovery in Kilgore, Texas, eventually establishing one of the largest crude oil reclamation operations in the U.S., serving all major oil companies nationwide.

In 1992, his company merged with Trans American Waste Industries, where he served as President of the Crude Oil Waste Division until 1995. That same year, Windsor co-founded MCS Technologies, LLC, based in Houston, Texas. Under his leadership as President and CEO, MCS quickly rose to become a top-three provider of refinery waste processing services in the U.S. and operated internationally. MCS was acquired by Veolia Water North America in 2002, where Windsor continued as Vice President and General Manager of Process Solutions until 2005, helping to create the industry’s largest U.S. provider in that space.

In 2010, Windsor founded Dolphin Services and Chemicals, LLC, focusing on engineering and building E&P waste processing facilities. Through a landmark partnership with Waste Management, Dolphin introduced cutting-edge waste recovery capabilities at WM landfills nationwide. Dolphin was acquired by Waste Management in 2015, with Windsor serving as a consultant through 2020.
Today, at the helm of The Windco Companies, Windsor leads a group of enterprises dedicated to serving industrial, refining, E&P, and food processing markets. Windco specializes in process design, site training, operational monitoring, and supplying state-of-the-art processing equipment tailored to the evolving needs of complex waste stream management.

After graduation he joined the newly formed Dolphin Services and Chemicals LLC as its third employee. There his responsibilities ranged from consulting, design,  modeling, costing, construction, startup, operations, maintenance, and automation. Jake was instrumental in the design and construction of numerous oil recovery processes which led to Waste Management(WM) acquiring Dolphin in 2015. Later that year Jake received his professional engineering license testing in Mechanical Engineering Thermal and Fluids Systems.

In 2019 Jake joined SpaceX as a Test Equipment Engineer II for the Dragon team at the SpaceX Rocket Development and Test Facility in McGregor, Texas. There his responsibilities included the design, build and operation of facilities and test equipment in support of engine, component, structural, and developmental testing.

While at SpaceX he worked with various cryogenic fluids including nitrogen, helium, oxygen and methane and hypergolic propellants monomethylhydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide. He worked on projects supporting Dragon, Crew Dragon, Raptor, Falcon and Starship.

Today, Jake is an engineer for RJSA Engineering LLC which focuses on the design and fabrication of specialized process equipment. At Windco he is responsible for design, costing and automation of projects.
